A Market Hot for Temperature Resistance: South 8 is developing a solution to this problem using a liquefied gas electrolyte the company calls LiGas. In February, South 8 announced it had demonstrated high performance of its LiGas technology on cobalt-free, low nickel, and high-energy battery cells designed for next generation EVs.
